Figtree Hill is a new master planned community under development at Campbelltown in Sydney’s south-west. Vaughan Civil is currently constructing a new sewer pump station which will serve the future community.
Scope includes:
Design of temporary works, lift plans, complex shoring, and sections of scope to improve delivery on site.
Construction of an in-ground reinforced concrete wet wall 14m deep by 3m diameter.
Construction of an in-ground precast concrete valve chamber, emergency relief structure (ERS), and an in-ground reinforced concrete inlet maintenance hole (IMH).
Design of various elements of the works as required by the client.
Ductile iron pipework (DICL) from the valve chamber to the DN300 x DN200 reducer within the site fence.
DN150 bypass connection with stop and non-return valves to allow bypass pumping into the sewer pressure main.
Construction of a 2200mm diameter maintenance hole upstream DN900 pipe which includes inlets for DN300 and DN200 pipework to connect to.
Installation of scour line, valves and pipework for wastewater, air valve and vent lines, all-weather kiosk, and a main distribution board with facility to receive power supply from the electricity distributor and an emergency generator.
Installation and integration of soft starter type motor starters, integrated instrumentation, controls, automation and telemetry system (IICATS), remote telemetry unit (RTU) panel and associated controls.
Control and telemetry systems installed and configured to IICATS requirements.
Development and implementation of a wastewater commissioning plan and proof of performance testing.
Emergency duty programmable logic controller (PLC) independent of the RTU as back up to the RTU.
Supply and installation of natural ventilation system.
Coordinate the inspection, testing and commissioning of the pump station.
